Great photograph and potentially an important historical records as there may be plans to dig up Hanover Street. One of the last remaining cobble stone streets with scottish granite insets to remain in Newcastle. There is another set in the Ouseburn Valley. The idea of the insets was to prevent the cobbles to be worn away by cart wheels.
